Aba residents in the spirit of unanimous excitement shutdown their shops and offices on Wednesday 25th March, 2015 to make a royal welcome to the APGA Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr Alex Otti, OFR and his deputy, Dr Uche Eme-Uche at Etche Road Primary School, Aba.

These excitements seen on the faces of both the young and the old in almost all the streets of Aba is one way Aba people have once again proven their support for a change they can believe, feel and touch. It is another way of relieving themselves of the pains and undue punishment of bad roads, double taxation, intimidation by hired Agboro boys and decayed infrastructure the current administration has subjected them to. This APGA Mega Rally, as history has it, has become the most attended and fruitful political rally in Abia State. We gathered that not even the visit of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, could pull such kind of crowd.

As early as 8:00am, Party Supporters had already gathered at the campaign office of Hon Rtn Ossy Prestige, the Winner of Aba North and Aba South Federal House of Assembly election to begin preparation and pre-celebration of the long-awaited Mega Rally to begin. Not fewer than 20,000 pieces of customized T-Shirts were distributed by Hon Rtn Ossy Prestige to party supporters.
Legible voters at the rally pledged their support for Dr Alex Otti and all other APGA candidates. They went ahead to bemoan on the dilapidated state of Aba roads and other infrastructures, including their markets (which is the primary source of their survival). This is the same Aba that despite all the security personnel that accompanied the opponent of Alex Otti, they still stoned him.

"As we speak now, there's great fear in Abia State PDP camp as rumours of defection begins to emerge." This came up after few minutes Hon Rtn Ossy Prestige defeated his opponent, Rt Hon. Barr. Uzo Azubike as the Representative of Aba North and Aba South Federal House of Assembly.
Now, have you collected your PVC? If you have, protect it and use it wisely on April 11th to vote for change, equity and trusted leadership.
