Enyimba Football Club Aba Wins N30 Million, Qualifies For 2016 CAF Champions League



Enyimba Football Club, Aba has won 30 million naira after they topped a 20-team championship.

 Enyimba Football Club, Aba has shown their counterparts in the field of sports the stuff they are made of by winning this year’s Nigeria league with a total point of 70 in 38 matches with Warri Wolves coming second with four points behind them.


Having emerged victorious against other clubs in Nigeria by topping the 20-team championship, Enyimba Football Club won for themselves a whooping sum of Thirty Million naira (N30million) – USD $150,000.

It is on record that this amount is the highest ever given to any Nigeria league champion.
Skipper Chinedu Udo­ji was at the Teslim Ba­logun Stadium in Lagos on Sunday to receive a dummy cheque of the prize money from Ni­geria league boss Shehu Dikko.

Luckily for Enyimba, they will be representing Nigeria in next year’s CAF Champions League alongside runners-up Warri Wolves.
