Obasanjo Visits Aba to Commission Roads Built by Okezie Ikpeazu

Obasanjo with Okezie Ikpeazu
The former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo today visited the great Enyimba city, Aba in the company of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu to commission some of the roads built and street lights completed by the governor who was sworn-in on May 29, 2015.

Moving round some of the roads, Obasanjo thanked Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of his commitment to better the lives of the people of Abia and especially Aba, the commercial nerve-centre of the State that has remained in a deplorable condition for many years.

So far, with the trends of development coming into Abia State and especially Aba where we are headquartered, we can authoritatively report that Okezie Ikpeazu is committed to change the lives of Abians

However, we call on the Government to please endeavour to issue at least a minimum quit notice of six months to people living or doing businesses in areas that are marked for demolition, and before the demolition proper, let an alternate market for doing business be availed the people.
