Breaking News: APC Owns Up Being Responsible for Nigeria's Economic Recession



The ruling party in Nigeria, The All Progressive Congress, APC  has finally owned up to the fact that they were the ones responsible for all the economic challenges Nigeria is battling with at the moment.

It is on record that the All Progressive Congress, APC since they took over office from then largest party in Africa, The People's Democratic Party, PDP have continued to blame their predecessor (PDP) as the one responsible for the economic recession that has now crippled businesses in Nigeria.

The All Progressive Congress, APC had blamed PDP for misappropriating $2.1 billion provided for arms deal in combating Boko Haram in the Northeast. APC also labelled several corrupt cases against some top PDP dignitaries.


According to Premium Times, the new decision by the APC to own up to the responsibility for the current situation was communicated by Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State who spoke with newsmen after the meeting all the APC governors had with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa today, Monday, October 24, 2016.

According to speculation, the meeting was also to address the disquiet over the recent ambassadorial nomination made by President Buhari with some governors reportedly unhappy that they were not consulted before the nominations.
